How to book an appointment

To schedule an appointment to visit an Australia Visa Application Centre, kindly click on your preferred location UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain or Qatar.

It is recommended that you schedule an appointment to:

  • Lodge a visa application, including Return Resident Visas
  • Lodge a Citizenship by descent application

Note: only Citizenship by Descent applications can be submitted at an Australia visa application centre. For information about where all other Citizenship applications must be submitted, refer to the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection’s website: www.border.gov.au/Trav/Citi
  • Submit biometrics only (upon referral from the Australian Visa Office)

You do not need an appointment to collect your documentation. Please see Processed Document Collection for pick up times

Fast Track Premium Appointment and Fast Track Standard Appointment are applicable ONLY to UAE passport holders applying for a Visitor visa (subclass 600) in the UAE. Click Here for more information on the Fast Track Visa service.

Important: If you are part of a family or group, each member of the family or group must make an individual appointment. For example, if you are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children, you must make 4 individual appointments.

We recommend that you book an appointment to attend the visa application centre as it can get busy at peak times.

As part of the visa application procedure, you will need to provide electronic fingerprint data along with a digital photograph. If you have temporary injuries on your fingers, please wait until the injuries have healed before you book your appointment. Henna on fingertips may also mean we are unable to get a clear scanned image and should be removed or allowed to fade before your appointment date.
