Additional services

The services mentioned here are optional. To use them, you will need to pay an extra fee in addition to the visa application fee. You must pay this extra fee when you attend the visa application centre only.

Preferred mode of acceptable payment for all the Additional Services listed below is Debit and Credit Card. VFS will accept all Visa, Master and Maestro cards.

Alternate payment option of Cash is available at the Visa Application Centre.

A formal receipt will be generated for every completed transaction.

Premium Lounge

At VFS Global, we constantly strive to offer a range of hi-end services to enhance customer satisfaction. As part of our constant and ongoing endeavor to add value to applicants’ experience, it is our privilege to offer the “Premium Lounge Service”.

Currently this service is only available at Australia Visa Application Centres in Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai North.

This service provides:

  • Separate lounge with personalized service by dedicated staff
  • Refreshments
  • Free Photocopying service for your documents
  • Free Photographs for your application forms
  • Free Witness of your Documents (up to a maximum of 30 pages)
  • Reading Material (Magazines/Newspapers)
  • Faster submission of applications at the visa application centres
  • Allowing Mobile phone usage inside the lounge

This service is available for walk in applicants as well as applicants who have booked a Premium Lounge appointment. To book an appointment kindly mail us on premiumloungesouthin@vfsglobal.com (for Bangalore and Chennai) and premiumloungewestin@vfsglobal.com (for Mumbai North).
Premium Lounge Service Fee is INR 2,627.00 (per application)

Prime Time (Weekdays)

With effect from 1 March 2017, Prime Time appointment service will be available from Monday to Friday at all Visa Application Centres across India except Kolkata. This service allows applicants, who pay an additional fee to lodge their applications beyond the normal processing hours (Monday to Friday 09:00 to 16:00).

Online Visa Assist (Online Visa application through Immi Account)

VFS Global’s Online Visa Assist service provides you expert, personalised assistance with completing, submitting and paying for your online application at the visa application centre, all at one go! This service includes assistance with scanning and uploading all supporting documents. You can also enjoy the exclusive benefit of staying updated on the status of your application through the online portal from the comfort of your home.

Online Visa Assist service is available for the Visa categories listed below for a fee of INR 1385.00 (per application) and will include upload of any subsequent documents as per the request of the Australian High Commission / Embassy Only.

  • Visitor Visa

  • Temporary Activity work Visa
  • Citizenship by Descent
  • Partner Visa
  • RRV applications
Please note, applicants are requested to carry their International Debit/Credit Card as visa fee payments for online applications can only be made in Australian Dollars.

Online Payment Assist (For Online Visa application through Immi Account)

Australia Visa Applicants and representatives will now have the option and convenience of lodging online visa applications by using the international credit card facility offered by VFS Global.

This service will be available for an additional charge of INR 495 per application and will come into effect from Friday, 27 October 2017.To know more about this service, please click here.

Online Health Declaration (HAP ID)

Applicants can save time with the convenience of generating Online Health Declaration (HAP ID) at the Visa Application Centre. Appointed staff will provide assistance to visa applicants for completing and generating the Health Declaration.

The cost for this service is INR 359.00 per application.

Photograph

Applicants can have their photographs taken at the visa application centre, which meets the Australian High Commission requirements.. This service can be bought for an extra fee of INR 158.00 for 8 passport size photographs.

Photocopy

There is a photocopying service available at the visa application centre for an additional fee of INR 5.00 for each sheet.

Courier Pass back

The visa application centre will courier the Australian High Commission’s decision notification letter/documents/passport back to you for an extra fee of INR 315.00(per envelope). Please enquire about this service when you submit your visa application at one of the VFS service desks.

SMS

SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone at various stages of the visa application process.

At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message to your registered email address provided in your application form, informing you that the Australian High Commission has arrived at a decision with regard to your application.

Please note that this SMS service will not update you on requests for additional documents or information made by the Embassy/High Commission. These requests will be sent via your email address.

You can buy this SMS service for an additional fee of INR 92.00 (per application) at the same time you submit your visa application form and supporting documents at the visa application centre.

ETA - Assisted Terminal:

Appointed staff will provide assistance to visa applicants for completing an ETA/E visitor application form at the VAC as an optional service. For eligibility criteria, please click here.

Assisted Form Filling (Paper Application)

The assisted form filling service is a service that VFS offers to its clients at the Australia Visa Application Centres. Appointed staff will assist a visa applicant to complete a visa application form at the VAC as an optional service. The cost for this service is INR 359.00 per application.

Document Scanning & Email:

Clients can get their documents scanned and emailed at an additional cost of INR 21.00 per page.
