Required documents for all visa categories:
Please note that the following essentials must be met by all applicants submitting their applications for visa.
Indonesian citizens who wish to go to Denmark for business or tourism need a visa. In March 2001 Denmark joined the Schengen visa system. A Schengen visa gives the holder the right to travel inside the whole Schengen area without applying for visas to each country.
The Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The Schengen countries are able to issue a short-stay visa (transit, tourist, business) for the period of 1 to 90 days, which is valid for all countries. The total duration of stay or a succession of several stays may not exceed 90 days per six months.
Please note:
There is no legal right to a visa. |
As a rule it is not allowed to change the purpose of a visit. |
Visas for longer period than 90 days or for the purpose of taking up employment or studying are not subject to the Schengen agreement. They are subject to the national legislation of the country of destination. They must be applied for with the consular authorities of the country concerned. |
Visa Fee and Logistic Fee to be paid upon application. |
6 months valid passport from the date of applying for Danish Visa is mandatory, please note that The Embassy of Denmark, Jakarta does not accept additional pages inserted into passports. If you do not have a blank page to which a visa can be affixed, a new passport must be obtained before submitting your application. |
When an invitation form from the host/host company in Denmark is submitted together with the visa application, it will normally not be necessary to obtain further information from the host, thus shortening the processing time. Applicants are therefore encouraged to make use of the invitation form here. |
