    This is to inform all France Applicants that all Applicants have to come in person for collection of documents/passports. It is not possible for a third party to collect the documents on behalf of an applicant, except in the following cases:

    • A parent collecting for a dependent child
    • One member of a family group collecting the passports for the whole family, if applied together
    • Federal Government Ministry representatives
    • Approved Corporate company representative, approved by the Consulate and the company’s authorized signatories with a letter of permission and a photograph.

    Please be informed that it is mandatory for all applicants applying for Short Stay Visa for Tourism/Family visit to submit along with their documents a personal bank statement only.

    If the applicant has no personal bank statement, a close family member’s (husband, parents for minors and students) personal bank statement could be submitted.

    In case of Business visit, applicants should submit both their company bank statement and personal bank statement.

    Kindly note that non-compliance with this requirement might lead to delay in visa processing.

    Visa for the kingdom of Netherlands and Lithuania can be applied through the France VFS Application Center in Lagos, on behalf of the Consulate General of France in Lagos. Supporting documents, visa fees as well as VFS Global fees remain the same as for applicants for France.

    Dear applicants,

    If you want a representative to collect your passport on your behalf, please request for an authority letter at the submission counter while submitting your document or you can download one and bring it to VFS Global center for endorsement during submission only.

    Note:-Only Authority letter endorsed and issued at the VFS Global center will be entertained to give the passport to a representative along with his or her photo identity.

    Please be informed, VFS Global can refuse to handover the passport to a representative if the authority letter is not produced as per the prescribed format.
