Launch of French Government “France-Visas” website. Visit this website for comprehensive information on visas and on how to apply: STEP 1: check whether you need a visa and prepare your application; STEP 2: check who can examine your application; STEP 3: fill your visa application form and STEP 4: book an appointment to submit your application in VFS GLOBAL visa application centre. The French spouse applicants, who have complete documents with marriage transcription certificate and "livret de famille", are free of service charge and visa fee, and do not require an appointment to submit the application at the French Visa Application Centre.

Courier Service

Have your passport couriered back to you instead of collecting it from the VAC.

The visa application centre will courier your passport back to you once a decision has been made regarding your application. You can purchase this service at the visa application centre for a fee of 30.00 AED. Please enquire about this service when you submit your visa application at one of the VFS Global service desks.

You do not need to pay the additional courier fee if availing the Premium lounge service.

Photobooth Service

Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the Visa Application Centre.

This will ensure that the photographs meet Embassy’s specifications.

This service can be bought for an extra fee of 25.00 Dirhams for 4 passport size photographs.

Photocopy Service

Photocopying Documents Service:

You may avail this service at the photocopying booth in the Visa Application Centre for a fee of AED 2/-.

Premium Lounge

Apply for your visa from the comfort of our Premium Lounge.

The Premium Lounge Service is available for those customers who would like to experience a dedicated service with individual attention of one of our staff. This service provides the following amenities:

  • A separate premium service lounge
  • Stylish surroundings with refreshments
  • Photocopying service for your documents
  • Quicker submission of your application at the visa application centre
  • SMS alert on the status of your application
  • Courier return of your passport.

You can avail this service at the visa application centre for 250.00 AED for each applicant.

You do not need to pay the additional Courier, SMS and photocopying fee if availing the Premium Lounge Service.

Your visa will be processed and decided by The Embassy of France in UAE. Availing the Premium Lounge Service does not mean that your visa will be processed faster.

SERVICE CONDITIONS

The « Visa Application Centre » is a service provided by VFS Global Services Pvt Ltd.

VFS has for unique objective to provide facilities either to schedule appointments for the visa section of the French consular authority, or to receive the visa applicants, collect their files as well as their visa fee, transmit them to the consular authority and collect the passports after instruction of the application for remittance to the applicants, either directly, or via the courier service.

French consular authority reserves the right to request for additional documents, call the applicant for an interview and hand over the passport directly to the applicant.

VFS is not responsible for the processing delays at the visa section of the consular authority, nor of the decisions taken by them.

In spite of all precautions to ensure the security of passports and documents provided by applicants, the exceptional cases and major force of loss or theft of passports cannot be excluded. VFS cannot be held responsible in such cases.

Courier services are optional and provided by an external operator. VFS selects operators among the most reliable in the market, but assumes no responsibility in case of failure from their part. In case of loss of the passport during its transfer, the responsibility of VFS is limited to the reimbursement of the fees for replacement of that passport in accordance with the regular procedure. VFS cannot be held responsible for damages suffered by the applicant due to the loss of the passport and attached documents.

Visa fees and service charges are not refundable.

No employee of VFS can modify the above mentioned service conditions.

In case of dispute, the local courts alone have jurisdiction.

To use VFS’ services, applicants must accept the service conditions developed above.

Beware of fraudulent job offers


Fraudulent Recruitment / Employment Offers

It has come to VFS Global’s attention that, individuals misrepresenting themselves as VFS Global’ agents or representatives have approached people to offer fraudulent/fictitious employment opportunities, with the intent to steal personal information or solicit money from people. We encourage you to exercise caution and common sense when receiving any such employment offer, which requires payment of any fees/money, or promises a work visa in exchange for money. The said offers are completely fake and not valid. VFS Global is not a recruitment agency and does not offer recruitment services. Scammers operate primarily via the internet, email, phone, etc. We warn people to beware of such scams.

Please be advised that, VFS Global is a visa processing company and we work only with Government and Diplomatic Missions to fulfil their administrative requirements of visa application processing. Neither VFS Global nor its representatives will ask for money from individuals under any circumstances to lure them with employment opportunities either in VFS Global or outside. If you receive any offer that purports to be from VFS Global, which ask for money, these types of offers are fraudulent.

Warning Signs of Recruitment Fraud

The following are some examples of recruitment fraud which are in violation of VFS Global’s processes and ethical practices:

  • The email is not sent from an official VFS Global e-mail address but from a free e-mail service such as: Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc. It is also possible that, the email is sent from a fake email address.
  • You are asked to disclose private or confidential information.
  • You are asked to be interviewed over the phone or via an instant-messenger type program.
  • You are requested to pay fees/money.
  • You are requested to complete bogus recruitment documentations such as an application or employment visa forms, (the VFS Global name and logo could be forged/fabricated and featured on the documentation without authority).
  • Insistence on urgency.
  • Money will be requested for processing work permits, visa applications or the like.

Such actions are presumably intended to defraud or obtain personal information from the victims.

The activities of these individuals involve criminal and civil liabilities. While VFS Global takes such matter seriously and reserves its right to contact competent law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute such illegal activities, it is often difficult to locate and prosecute these individuals.

Therefore, if you receive a request, either in writing or verbally, for an interview or a job offer that you believe is or might be fraudulent or suspicious, please disregard them. You may also verify the same with VFS Global at communications@vfsglobal.com

If you come to know that a fraud is being perpetrated, we encourage to forthwith contact your local police and/or any competent authorities and also to keep us informed by reporting the fraud at acco@vfsglobal.com

Under no circumstances will VFS Global be liable or responsible for any loss, damages, expenses or inconvenience resulting from these unauthorized persons and/or activities.

Privacy Policy

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

VFS respects the instructions of the French Authorities with regards to protection of personal data.

VFS saves personal data during the booking of appointment and, where applicable, during the on-line form filling process.

These data are encrypted before being transferred to our servers based on secured protocols. Data is saved for a duration agreed with the French authorities, and then they are deleted.

Other data entered by VFS, particularly the biometric data, are not saved on VFS servers but transferred immediately on the servers of the French consular authority according to a procedure based on encrypted protocols managed by the French consular authorities.

Documents contained in the visa applications that are submitted at the VFS Visa Application Centre by the applicants are all transferred to the French consular authorities.

The envelopes received from the French authorities, which contain the passports of the applicants, are handed over to them or their representative. In case the envelope is not retrieved within 30 days, these envelopes are sent back to the French consular authorities.

Therefore, VFS stores no data and no document provided by the visa applicants.

VFS does not sell, market nor rent to third parties the personal data of the visa applicants.
