VFS Global has been appointed as the outsourced partner by the Embassy of France in Abu Dhabi, to facilitate visa applications to France and Schengen countries. This site is a part of the Embassy of France, Abu Dhabi, to ease the visa application process for the residents in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi & Al Ain.
The territories of operation of the Embassy are mainly - the Emirates of Abu Dhabi & Al Ain.
The French Embassy in Abu Dhabi is not allowed to issue a visa to a non UAE resident

Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more. |

Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre (Strongly recommended): To avoid waiting time due to high volume of applicants applying at the same time, we strongly recommend you book an appointment before visiting the Visa Application Centre. Booking and appointment is FREE OF CHARGE and is subject to availability. More details available under Schedule an Appointment. |

Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents. |

Pay applicable Fee: Please check ‘Visa Fee’ table provided under the visa category you are applying for. Visa Application Centre accepts the fee in CASH ONLY. Submission Officer at the Visa Application Centre will advise you on total payable amount in local currency only (AED). A receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre. |

Interview Appointment: On the day of submission every applicant will be given an interview appointment with the Embassy of France. The interview appointment is for completing the process of biometrics. It is a MUST for every applicant to visit the Embassy in person |
Please note:
At the time of submission at the Visa Application Centre, applicant has the choice to:

subscribe for Courier Service for return of passport |
| b) |
subscribe for SMS Service where Visa Application Centre sends application status on applicant’s mobile and via email |
After submission of documents at the Visa Application Centre, you can also check status of your application online by simply providing the unique VAC Reference Number and your Date of Birth. VAC reference number (starts with FRAD) can be found on the Invoice-Cum-Receipt provided by the Submission Officer at the application centre at the time of submission.
