The Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in  the UAE is pleased to announce the opening of the Visa Application Centres in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Visa applications submitted at the Visa Application Centres in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be assessed by the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Prospective Applicants

Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site  will help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the  chance of your application being incomplete- or taking long to be processed.

Please note that  you need to be physically present at the Visa Application Centre at the time of submission of  your application,  You are also required to submit your biometrics (fingerprints  and digital photo)  at the center after submitting your  application. The Embassy of the Hellenic Republic may also require a personal interview at its premises in Abu Dhabi, prior to a decision being taken on your application. The Visa Application Centre  will assist you in booking  an appointment for the interview, if required.

Note: Applicants are advised to apply  for their visas at least 40 days before their date of travel.
VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1 : Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Visa Application Center.
Step 2 :
Before applying, please ensure that you are clear about your ‘purpose of visit’. Our staff will be available to assist and help you through the entire visa application process. However, the  staff is not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing  your visa category. Please go through  the link “All about your visas” for information on the various visa categories.
Step 3 :
Complete your Visa Application Form  by downloading  the form here and affix your photograph.
Step 4 :
Attach all supporting documents, as per the checklist,  making sure your application form is complete. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Step 5 :
Schedule an appointment (mandatory)
You are required to book an appointment to visit the Visa Application Centre in Abu Dhabi or Dubai to submit your visa application. Please click here for more information on scheduling appointments
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please remember to do so 48 hours before your original appointment

Step 6 :
Arrange payment of visa fee in cash (AED)
Step 7 :
Submit your application at the VFS Global Centre in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

TRACK YOUR APPLICATION
After submitting your documents at the Visa Application Centre, you can check the status of your application online, by providing the unique VAC Reference Number and your date of birth. (VAC Reference Number can be found on the invoice-cum-receipt provided at the Visa Application Centre at the time of submission.)

If you have availed the SMS tracking service, you will receive SMS and email alerts, once the processed application is couriered or is ready for collection at the Visa Application Centre. These alerts will be received on the mobile number and email address provided while submitting the visa application.

Please note that the timings for passport collection from Sunday to Thursday is from 09:00 to 17:00, and closed during weekends and holidays.

While collecting your passport at the Visa Application Centre,  you are required to provide the following:
Original payment receipt provided by the officer during document submission.
Original Emirates ID card

PLEASE NOTE:

Representatives/agents/consultants collecting the passport at the Centre will have to provide an authorisation letter from the applicant clearly stating the name of person & agency authorised to collect the passport on their behalf.
