Passport Renewal - minor
If your child is a Dutch national under 18 and their passport needs to be renewed, you can apply for a Dutch passport on their behalf. The child must be present when you apply. The current passport should be valid or can be expired no more than 2 years. Both parents of children who are younger than 18 years old need to give their permission to apply for a Dutch passport.

UK - FEES
There is a service charge of £24.00 (inclusive of VAT) for children of 12 year old or older per application in addition to the renewal fees payable by all applicants.
The service charge for children younger than 12 year old is £ 25,50 per application in addition to the renewal fees payable by all applicants.

- The Special Delivery facility for the return of passports is available at a fee of £14.95 (Inclusive of VAT) per application. This is an optional service. Royal Mail envelopes will not be accepted.
- The SMS facility for updates on your application is available at a fee of £1.95 (Inclusive of VAT) per application. This is an optional service.
