Welcome to the website for the Consulate of Spain in MIami – we encourage you to visit these pages to understand of how to submit your application for your trip to Spain.

The Consulate General of Spain in Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco, has outsourced appointment scheduling for Schengen visas. The Visa Call and Information Centre has no impact on the outcome of the visa decision or the processing time. Short term visa applications for Spain will continue to be made at the Consulate General of Spain but with prior appointment taken through the Appointment System managed by VFS. The procedure for long term visas to Spain remains the same.

For Prospective Applicants

If you wish to apply for a Schengen visa for a Short Term visit to Spain, please read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your application as accurately as possible and to avoid submitting an incomplete application. Applicants must apply within their Consular Jurisdiction.

Note: Only applicants from Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia may apply through the Consulate General in Miami. Applicants who are not from Florida, South Carolina, or Georgia will not be accepted at the Consulate in Miami and must apply within their jurisdiction.

On the day of your appointment, please ensure you arrive at the Consulate 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
 
VISA APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1 :
Please visit the Consulate website to understand the requirements to make the visa application and review the documents required for the interview.
Step 2 :
Return to this website and click the link ‘BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF SPAIN’ or call our Call Centre and follow the instructions for selecting a suitable appointment date from the available appointments.
Step 3 :
Pay the VFS service charge through the secure website or the Call Centre’s Interactive Voice Response Service and get confirmation of your selected date.
Step 4 :
Print your Interview Appointment confirmation letter and report for your interview at the Consulate on the scheduled date with the supporting documents. Kindly ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Consulate for an interview.
