VFS Global Services Pty Ltd is a commercial company working in partnership with
the Commonwealth of Australia to provide Australian visa application services
in Malaysia.
The Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Kuala Lumpur offers services
which include collection of visa application documents, charges and biometrics
as well as returning of passports to applicants. The AVAC operates within the
guidelines of the
client service principles of the Australian
Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
All applications will be assessed and decided by the Visa Section of the
Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur in accordance with Australian
immigration legislation and policy. VFS Centre staff do not have the authority
to assess visa applications or make visa decisions.

Important note for visa applicants:
Applicants must lodge a complete and signed application form for the
appropriate visa subclass, pay the appropriate visa application charge and
provide their biometrics. Application forms for persons aged under 18 years
must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
All supporting documents and information should be submitted together with the
application. Any documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a
certified translation.
To avoid possible delays, you should include all relevant information and
additional documentation in support of your application at the time of
lodgement.
If you do not provide all the specified documentation at the time you lodge
your application a decision may be made on the basis of the available
information. Australian migration legislation permits a decision to be
taken at any time after the application has been lodged.
If there is a requirement or you are directed by the Visa Office in Kuala
Lumpur to provide further documentation, please send all correspondence
directly to the
Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.
