Welcome to the website of the Australian Visa Application Centre in Singapore.

VFS Global Services Pte Ltd is a commercial company working in partnership with the Commonwealth of Australia to provide Australian visa application services in Singapore.

The Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Singapore offers services which include collection of visa application documents and application charges, an online visa application tracker as well as returning of passports to applicants. The AVAC operates within the guidelines of the client service principles of the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).

All applications will be assessed and decided by the Visa Office of the Australian High Commission in Singapore in accordance with Australian immigration legislation and policy. VFS Centre staff do not have the authority to assess visa applications or make visa decisions.

Applications made in Singapore by applicants who do not reside in Singapore may need to be transferred to the applicant’s country of residence for processing, depending on the nature of the application. This may result in delays in finalising an application.

Step 1 : Select a visa subclass which is appropriate for the purpose of your travel to Australia and download and fill-up the relevant visa application form.
  Please note that you can also obtain a visa application form at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC).
Step 2 : A list of supporting documentation is for required for your visa, see checklists provided under Visa Types.
  Gather together the required supporting documentation for your application.
  To avoid delays all supporting documentation should be submitted at the time of application.
Step 3 : Prepare your visa application fee and the service fee payments.
  The payment can be done in cash or locally issued bank draft.
  For bank draft payments, the visa application fee should be payable to “AUSTRALIAN HIGH COMMISSION” and the service fee should be payable to “VFS SINGAPORE PTE LTD”
Step 4 : If you are applying in person, you are encouraged to make an appointment with the AVAC to lodge your application or you may just walk-in.
  Visa applicants in Singapore who lodge their applications at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Singapore, will be asked to provide their biometrics at the same time.
  Visa applicants who mail their applications to the Australian High Commission or to the AVAC, may be sent a letter requiring them to attend the AVAC, in person, to provide their biometrics.

Important note for visa applicants:
Biometrics will be collected from visa applicants,who are lodging paper application, irrespective of their nationality, who are in Singapore at the time of making a visa application to enter Australia unless they are excluded or exempted from the Programme.

Applicants must lodge a complete and signed application form for the appropriate visa subclass, pay the appropriate visa application charge and service fee. Application forms for persons aged less than 18 years must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

All supporting documents and information should be submitted together with the application. Any documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.

To avoid possible delays, you should include all relevant information and additional documentation in support of your application at the time of lodgement.

If you do not provide all the specified documentation at the time you lodge your application a decision may be made on the basis of the available information. Australian migration legislation permits a decision to be taken at any time after the application has been lodged.
