A photocopying service is available for applicants at 5 Baht per page (Black and white A4 size)
Applicants using this service can have their photograph taken at the visa application centre. This will ensure that the photographs meet Australian Embassy requirements. The fee is 250 Baht for 6 passport size photographs. (This service is available for Bangkok only)
This service has an initial charge of 25 Baht per time
Applicants using this service can be assisted to fill up the application form by VFS staff. The fee is250 Baht per application.
Applicants applying for a visa using ETA can available assisted service from the staff. The fee is 250 Baht per applicant.For eligibility criteria, please click here.
SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone at various stages of the visa application process.
At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message to your registered email address provided in your application form, informing you that the Australian High Commission has arrived at a decision with regard to your application.
Please note that this SMS service will not update you on requests for additional documents or information made by the Embassy/High Commission. These requests will be sent via your email address.
You can buy this SMS service for an additional fee of 75 Baht (per application) at the same time you submit your visa application form and supporting documents at the visa application centre.

The premium lounge service fee is 3000 Baht for each visa applicant.
To make an appointment to use the premium lounge service please click here and selecting the premium lounge option from the drop down list available from the Book an appointment page or simply attend the Visa Application Centre in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. You will be given a confirmation of appointment which will have the booking reference number, the applicant’s name and passport number and details of the date and time of the appointment. Please bring a print out of this confirmation with you when you come to the VAC to submit the visa application.
With effect from 01 November 2017 it will be mandatory to have an appointment for the submission of all type of applications or enrolment of Biometrics at the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Bangkok and Chiang Mai
Applicants without appointment will be charged 627 Baht for the submission of their application or enrolment of Biometrics.
Attend the VAC on an earlier date and time than their scheduled appointment or
Access the VAC after their appointment time (within 30 minutes or more) within that same day.
Accommodating walk in appointments will be dependent upon Application centre’s capacity and slot availability.
A document scanning and email is available for applicants at 25 Baht per page
A document printing is available for applicants at 25 Baht per page
A witness document is available for applicants at 50 Baht per page
If it is inconvenient for you to attend an appointment at the visa application centre during the normal business hours, you can schedule a Prime Time appointment outside of normal business hours, at a cost of THB 2,100 for each applicant, plus the applicant fee.
How to apply for the service
- For book an appointment, applicants need to book an appointment with the visa application centre by selecting the prime time option from the drop down list available from the Book an appointment page. Please click here for booking an appointment
- You will be given a confirmation of appointment which will have the booking reference number, the applicant’s name and passport number and details of the date and time of the appointment. You will be required to bring a print out of this confirmation when you come to the VAC to submit the visa application or biometrics collection.
- Prime time appointment slots will be allocated as per the table below
