Applicants are also requested not to use their personal mobile phones within the Visa Application Centres or step outside the office premises for prolonged conversations. All bags such as travel bags, suitcases, will not be permitted.

Note: There is no facility at the centre to store prohibited items. You will have to make alternate arrangements to keep the same before entry into centre.

Security procedures For security reasons we cannot allow applicant's friends, relatives or other associates into the visa application centre. Applicants who have a disability or who are physically challenged will be able to bring somebody to assist them. The following items will not be permitted inside the visa application centre or stored in the premises. All battery operated or electronic gadgets such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3's, floppies, laptops, or portable music players. Sealed packages. Weapon or weapon like objects or explosive material of any kind.

This list is not finite. Other items may be prohibited based on security staff discretion.
