If you wish to apply for a temporary visa to Austria, kindly read the
information on this site carefully. If you follow the guidelines listed on this
site, you will be able to submit your documents accurately. This will reduce
the chances of your application being rejected due to inadequate or faulty
submission of documents.
Processing Time depends on the availability of all the required documentation
and the necessity of additional documents on a case to case bases.

The visa fee is collected in cash at the VFS Global application Centre at the time of
handing in the application.
For applications submitted in person at the Visa Application Centre. It is mandatory to schedule an appointment to submit your short stay application. Please make sure you already have Schedule an appointment before apply your application at VFS Austria.

do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa

process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Consulate / Embassy of
Austria to decide on.

their travel plans / Air-Tickets only after obtaining the visa. After
applying for the Visa, the applicants will not be able to borrow their
passports from the Embassy. The processing time for a Visa Application
could be 15 days on an average, however, there may be delay in the
processing time according to the season, type of Visa or other unforeseen
