Regional Project Manager

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Minimum: Preferably an engineering graduate
  • Additional: PMP/Prince 2
  • Experience:10-12 years of Project Management/ Delivery/ Client Relationship experience in IT or related industry
  • Proficient in use of computers – Project management tools
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal – in English
  • Willingness to travel on long duration assignments within the country and internationally
  • Capacity to put in long hours and also work in un-structured environments
  • Should have worked on large IT projects across enterprise

 

Job Description:

  • Plan and execute all aspects of the projects within the given region which includes Scheduling, Resourcing, Cost Management, Quality & Compliance, Scope and Customer expectations
  • Develop and implement project plans, identifying and arranging activities needed for successful completion of project.
  • Manage project budget, resource allocation, plan and schedule project timelines in collaboration with senior management.
  • Constantly monitor the project schedule with the senior management & related staff and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Oversee the running of the office.
  • Determine the project goals and measures based on which the project will be evaluated and assessed on its completion
  • Ensure proper execution of project based on designed project plan and make required alterations safeguarding successful completion and implementation of project
  • Ensure responsiveness to customer or supplier demands & maintain a good relationship with all stakeholders. Effectively manage and communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures. Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects.
  • Supervise actual cash flow in comparison with projected cash flow and report variance to senior management on regular basis.
  • Managing project funds based on established accounting policies and procedures. Preparation and regular update of financial reports and project related documents for identifiers as defined in funding agreements.
  • Determining and implementing the appropriate corrective action to resolve the problems in the project leading to organization growth.
  • Evokes creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition.
  • Helping develop training courses, workshops and methods to support process management
  • Build a projects team in the region & manage regional projects in coordination with the PMO.
  • Coached and mentor colleagues to instil confidence and set expectations on delivering high quality outputs
  • Support other regions on Global projects/bid process/ Scoping & lead PMO activity for the region in the project execution.
  • Ensure smooth roll-out of Special Projects in neighbouring regions

Position: Senior Manager/ DGM – Treasury & Banking
Location: Mumbai, India

 

Senior Manager/ DGM

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification
  • Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of overall corporate treasury experience including cash management, cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange and hedging with minimum 2 years in a managing capacity in MNC

 

Job Description:

  • Overall responsibility and accountability for cash & short term investment management and the management of day to day cash flows
  • Facilitating Electronic Banking (including wires, ACH, stop payments etc.)
  • Overall accountability for monthly cash reporting to the Controller, Complete with an analysis of where the cash is invested, the rate of return earned on the cash and as compared to benchmarks, claims on cash, and the weighted average return on the portfolio
  • Execute Asset & Liability management decisions for the group post approvals
  • Handle group treasury activities including cash management, credit control, budgeting and forecasting
  • Coordinate integrated cash forecasting process, manage short term borrowing activity under revolving credit facilities and manage foreign currency hedging program
  • Implement treasury policies and operational procedures across various locations
  • Movement of funds between accounts
  • Debt Covenant maintenance
  • Ensure effective liquidity management, treasury & hedging forecast & currency risk mitigation. Arranging fund based & non fund based limit for the countries as per requirement

Compliance & MIS:

  • Vetting & controlling various bank charges as levied by bank to initiate corrective measures to reduce overall banking cost
  • Movement of funds between accounts

Liquidity & Portfolio Management:

  • Monitoring & weighing of weekly liquidity & managing investment portfolio

Cost Controls:

  • Opening of bank accounts, maintenance & control of global bank accounts & resolving all bank related queries
  • Bank guarantee initiation with bank globally & fulfilling necessary banking related compliance

Liquidity Management & hedging:

  • Responsible for day to day banking activities. Creation & updating of all banking related MIS
  • Provide banking support to all projects & execution of strategic initiatives
  • Ensuring & maintaining internal customer satisfaction

HR Strategy & Policies Implementation

  • Support Business HR Manager (South India & Sri Lanka) in planning and implementing of key HR initiatives to help the organization become an Employer of Choice
  • Work with Business / Function Heads in execution of HR business plan / strategy; embed change into day-to-day working practice and organization culture so as to build a performance oriented organization
  • Continuously supports review and improvement of the HR policies to reinforce organizational culture
  • Provide inputs to the Business HR Manager (South India & Sri Lanka) in developing solutions which enable successful retention strategies and solve capability gaps using internal/ external levers including development, resourcing, training and innovative stretch experiential opportunities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Implement recruitment solutions that enhance the organization's hiring capability of ‘Professional’ staff in alignment with the business objectives
  • Monitor hiring of fixed term employees and trainees in line with overall organization requirements
  • Contribute in assessment of manpower gaps for business units / departments based on the business plans and collectively explore both internal and external sourcing options for hiring in conjunction with the Global Resourcing team. Determine the feasible and cost effective option and initiate the sourcing process
  • Support in development of innovative and effective means of assessing potential candidates so that the right person is selected for the job. Organize and conduct candidate interviews. Shortlist candidates and negotiate salary offer / terms of engagement
