The Embassy of Denmark is pleased to announce the opening of their Visa Application Centre operated by VFS Global in Kathmandu, Nepal. This site provides information on procedures applicable to all nationals who wish to apply for a Tourist, Transit, Business Schengen Visa and Long Tem Visa to travel to Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden The visa applications can be submitted at the Danish Visa Application Centre at Kathmandu. All applications will be assessed by The Embassy of Denmark, located in Kathmandu.

For Prospective Applicants

Applicants who wish to apply for a Tourist, Visiting Family & Friends, Seaman, Business/Official Travellers and Sport/Culture Schengen Visa and Long term visa, kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the chances of your application being delayed or declined due to inadequate or incorrect submission of documents.

Please note that you may be required to appear before a Visa Officer at The Embassy of Denmark prior to a decision being taken on your application. The Visa application centre shall help you to take an appointment for the same.

Important:

Physically challenged applicants are requested to contact our helpline prior to visiting our centre to submit your application so that we may offer you the best possible assistance. Applicants are requested to read the Documents required page carefully, which would in turn increase their convenience at VFS.

Step 1 :	Applications for Danish visa are accepted at the VFS visa application centre.
Step 2 :	Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of The Embassy of Denmark.
