Schedule An Appointment

This page allows you to schedule an appointment for applying for Finnish visa at the Visa Application Centre in Bangkok as well as at the Embassy of Finland in Bangkok. Please be aware of the location that you would like to submit your application. In case of no-shows at the appointment with the Embassy, the Embassy will not accept the application at a later time of date.

You can also schedule an appointment for submitting group applications via Helpline number: +66 21187009 (see Contact Us). We recommend that you take an appointment to visit the Visa Application Centre as it will reduce your waiting time.

Attention:

For a group of 4 applicants or more, a scheduled appointment is mandatory.

One appointment is valid for one applicant only, the only exception is for children under 12 years of age who may submit their application together with their parents appointment. In case you arrive in a group, kindly book the required number of appointments corresponding to the number of applicants. If the parents have appointments in different slots, they can submit their applications as a family in the same slot together with their child.

Cancel the date of your Appointment: Please be very careful when you are going to cancel the appointment date. After canceling, you will be not able to use the same reference number again.

Please take into consideration, that all the data entered into the system should be correct. We recommend verifying the check-list of supporting documents in advance, and completing an online application form carefully, pasting the photograph and making copies of supplementary documents (e.g.: Parents’ consent for the child to travel and child’s birth certificate). Incomplete set of documents will not be accepted.

FAQ’s for the Appointment Scheduling

  • Can I make an appointment for the document submission via phone or e-mail?

    You can make an appointment only Online via internet or get assistance from our Helpline.

  • I made an appointment for 10:10, but there is a queue at the entrance. How can I enter the Visa Centre on time?

    The applicant with appointment can approach the guard near the entrance. The guard will help to coordinate with a staff at the Reception counter who has an appointment list for that day and let you enter the Visa Application Centre on time upon verifying your identity with the same passport or travel document used to schedule your appointment.

  • What if I am not able to come on time of my scheduled appointment?

    You have to reschedule or you can apply without an appointment as a walk-in (which will be served after the one who comes with appointment).

  • When is the last appointment schedule of the day?

    We accept the last application at 15:00.

  • Can I make an appointment to collect my processed visa?

    No, you don’t need to schedule an appointment for collecting your passport. Passport collection counter opens on Monday to Friday from 13:00-16:00 (except on Embassy holiday).

  • I need to submit documents urgently tomorrow, but no appointment slot is available for that day. What should I do?

    You can submit your visa application documents without appointment. In this case, you will be treated as a walk-in applicant which will not be a priority as an applicant who has the scheduled appointment. Longer waiting time can be expected as a result.
