Biometric Enrolment Schedule, 12 May 2013
Biometric data can be enrolled only at the Hungarian Embassy in Abu Dhabi from Sundays to Wednesdays between 9am to 12pm on the second Consular day from the date of application.
The officer will advise on the date of biometrics during submission of application at the Visa Application Centre.
Groups of more than 5 persons are requested to ask for a prior appointment by e-mail at mission.abu@mfa.gov.hu
The passports will be sent back to the Visa Application Centre for collection, once the application is processed, |

Biometric Enrolment, 27 September 2012:
Effective 30 September 2012, all visa applicants aged 12 years and above,
irrespective of nationality, will have to provide biometric data as a part of
the visa application process.
Applicants will be able to lodge applications and seek general immigration
information at the VFS Visa Application Centre.
Once the application is processed, the passports will be sent back to VFS Visa
Application Centre for collection |

Passport Regulations
All Visa Applicants must have a Passport that is not older than 10 Years at the
time of making an Application.
New regulation from 15.02.2010 for Nigerian passport holders
Please note that from 15 February 2010 by the modification of the Government
Decree 328/2007 (regarding passports and other travel documents not recognized
by the Republic of Hungary) the following Nigerian passports are no longer
accepted for entering the territory of the Republic of Hungary:
A-series: the letter “A” followed by seven characters of numbers.
A-series: the letter “A” followed by seven characters of numbers and closed by
a letter “A”.
The above documents are not accepted and therefore cannot be endorsed with
a visa.
Please note that previously issued Schengen visas will not give exemption from
this rule.
If you are holding a passport as described above, please apply for a new
passport at your nearest Nigerian High Commission/Embassy or Consulate. |
