Passport/ Document Return Procedure
Once we receive your passport and documents from the High Commission, we can arrange the mode of delivery in either of the following ways:

Counter Delivery
Processed passport(s) and document(s) to be collected from the India Passport and Other Consular Application Services Centre where the application was submitted.

Applicants are requested to provide either the original of the receipt issued at the application centre at the time of submission.

Please note: All applicants are personally responsible for their receipts. Delivery of passport and documents would be done to the bearer of the original of the receipt. Hence, you are strongly advised to report any loss or theft of receipt immediately to the India Passport and Other Consular Services Application Centre where you submitted your application.

Please note that the collection timings of passports is between 15:00 – 17:00

Courier Delivery
India Passport and Other Consular Services Application Centre in Malaysia uses Aramex, a leading independent courier Company, for return of passport(s) and documents to applicants who wish to use the service from us for a nominal charge as listed below:

West and Peninsular Malaysia: RM 35 (including tax) per application.
East Malaysia: RM 60 (including tax) per application.



You are requested to pay the charges for the same along with the Passport or Other Consular Service Fees and VFS service charges at the time of application submission.

Payments can be made by cash during submission at the counters.

Please Note: If the applications (received by post) are incomplete or signatures does not match with passport signatures, it would be returned without providing any service.

Sign form/s at all indicated places

Step 4
Ensure photos are strictly as per specifications. Click here for photo specifications

Step 5
Attach all supporting documents as per the requirement of the High Commission of India. Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted.

Step 6
Submit your application at the India Passport and Other Consular Services Centre.

Step7
Track your application online

Step 8
Your passport and attested documents will be returned to you by the mode of delivery selected by you once processed. Allow for 2-3 days transit time for courier return applications. Transit times differ by location and do not take into account any public holidays.
