Welcome to the website of the India Visa and Consular Services Centre’s in The Netherlands

The India Visa and Consular Services Centre’s are authorized by the Embassy of India in The Netherlands, to accept applications for Visa, Passport, Overseas citizenship of India (OCI), and Persons of Indian origin card (PIO), collect Visa Fee, Service charges & other fee and returning documents to applicants.

Our work is administrative in nature, and we have no impact on the outcome of the decision or the processing time. These are determined only by the Embassy of India.

Applicants are solely responsible for the applications they submit. Any false documents or other misrepresentation of information in support of their application will have a direct bearing on the judgment of their application by the Embassy of India.

VISA APPLYING PROCESS
Step 1 : Click, “All About Visas”. Confirm the visa type based on your reason for travel; do not make any confirmed bookings.
Step 2 : Complete your application duly filled in the downloaded application form.
Step 3 : If the application has been completed you must download & print all form/s, read and complete Checklist.
Step 4 : Check fees payable, payment options and documents required. All such details can be found in the respective visa categories under the section
Step 5 : Sign form/s at all indicated places.
Step 6 : Ensure photos are strictly as per specifications.
Step 7 : Check processing time to plan your travel accordingly.
Step 8 : Attach all supporting documents required as per the Checklist. Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted.
Step 9 : Submit your Application along with the passport and required documents at any of our India Visa Application Centre in The Hague or collection Centre’s at Amsterdam & Rotterdam by person to the respective.
Step 10 : “Track your application” online.
Step 11 : Your passport will be returned to you by the mode of delivery opted by you when submitted. Allow for 2-3 days transit time for courier return applications. Transit times differ by location and do not take into account any public holidays.

Please ensure that you do not finalize your travel plans before receiving the service for which you have applied for.
Please note that the validity of a visa starts from the date of issue and not the date of travel
Postal applications are NOT accepted at any one of centres. Please submit your application in person, travel agent or through representative only.
The Embassy follows a mix of prescribed Indian and The Netherlands holidays. The VFS Centre’s do the same. To ensure that you do not visit the office on a closed holiday, check the Holiday Schedule of the VFS Consular Services where you are applying before visiting it.
Processing times vary depending on various considerations. Please check relevant processing times.
OCI and PIO cards cannot be issued on an emergency basis; apply for a visa instead if you do not have time to wait for OCI/PIO to be processed.
Services are granted at the discretion of the Government of India. Fees are not refundable even if services applied for is refused after processing.

All visa applicants’ passports should be valid at least for 190 days. Applicants are solely responsible for the applications they submit. Any false documents or other is representation of information in support of their application will have a direct bearing on the judgment of their application by the Embassy of India in The Netherlands, The Hague.
