Please Note that all applicants residing in Mombasa and Malindi should apply through the local Honorary Consulate in their region i.e. in Mombasa and Malindi. All visa fee payment should also be paid in cash at the Consulate offices.
Kindly note: Any payment paid at any of the Barclays accounts for VFS will not be reimbursed and therefore the applicant will be required to pay cash again for the visa fees at the Consulate Offices.

The Embassy of Italy in Nairobi is pleased to announce the opening of the Visa Application Centre operated by VFS Kenya Ltd. in Nairobi. The site provides information on procedures applicable to Kenya residents who wish to apply for a short term period Visa (not exceeding 90 days) to travel to Italy and for a long term period visa (exceeding 90 days).

Visa applications are to be submitted at the Italy Visa Application Centre in Nairobi. All applications will be assessed by Embassy of Italy, located in Nairobi.

However Visas for Adoption, religious and Mission(mission is optional), have to be submitted directly to the Embassy of Italy in Nairobi through an appointment scheduled by VFS Italy visa application centre in parklands Nairobi.

Please Note: All applicants should submit their visa application in person at the Visa Application Centre.

We therefore under no circumstances accept nor receive couriered or mailed applications. We shall be forced to return the couriered or mailed application at the senders cost via the same courier or mail company.

Submission of Application 0800 – 1500 hrs (Monday – Friday) Except Holidays

Passport Collection 1000 – 1530 hrs (Monday – Friday) Except Holidays

This is to inform you that the Italy Visa Application centre will serve Somali applicants holding Somali Passports only on Thursdays. Therefore for other applicants (Kenyan passport holders and other nationals who are permanent residents in Kenya), please visit the Italy Visa application Centre on the other days of the week except Thursdays.
