Visa Fees

Business Visa (type C) 60 2,521

1. In addition to the fees paid for the visa, an additional charge of THB 500 (including VAT) is applied for each visa application. Furthermore, if at the time of submission the request was chosen the option of Special Courier Service for the return of the passport with a visa, the cost of the carrier amounted to THB 200 (including VAT). In cases where a visa is not granted, the passport must be picked up in person at the Visa Section of the Italian Embassy and the amount will not be refunded.
2. All Fees would be collected in Cash at the application submission counter.

Note: In case of failure to grant the visa, the amount paid is not under any circumstances refundable

1. Applicants must pay a visa fee for the equivalent of Euro 60 in local currency Baht at the exchange rate set by the Embassy that can change periodically. Currently the cost of visa is Baht  2,521.
2. For children between six and twelve years, the visa fees amounting to the equivalent of 35 Euro ( 1,471 THB) in Baht at the exchange rate set by the Embassy that can 'change periodically
3. The visa fee shall be waived for applicants belonging to one of the following categories:
  (a) children under six years;
  (b) all kind of study visa.
4. The visa fee may be waived for:
  (a) children from the age of six years and below the age of 12 years;
  (b) holder of diplomatic and service passports (with permission of the Embassy);
  (c) participants aged 25 years or less in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events, organized by non-profit organizations;
  (d) Spouse and child of citizen of EU or EEA.

The visa fee is collected in cash at the VFS application centre at the time of handing in the application.

Applications for Italy visa (Short-stay) are accepted at the Visa Application Centres.

Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process your application, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy or Consulate.
