HOW TO APPLY

Applicants are requested to read the following steps carefully before submitting their application at the New Zealand Visa Application Centre in Philippines.

Counter application

Applications can be submitted by applicants or their representatives in person at the counter of the New Zealand Visa Application Centre in Manila between 08:00 – 16:00 and in Cebu between 08:00 – 14:00 (Monday – Friday) - except on the holidays mentioned in the Public Holiday list .

To avoid delays please ensure you read the following steps carefully:

Step 1 :

Submit your original passport with photocopy of the bio page. For new passports that are issued from August 2016 onwards (passport number usually starts with letter “P”), please do not forget to sign on page 3. Your visa application will not be accepted if your passport is unsigned.

Please ensure all original documents you will submit are accompanied by a clear photocopy.

Step 2 :

Complete the visa application form. If you do not have a visa application form,you can download it from  here. If you already have the visa application form, you may check if it’s still valid from here.

Attach 2 pieces passport sized photos (with your name at the back) on your visa application form. For acceptable visa photos, please click here.

Step 3 :

The Visa Fees and VFS Global Service Fee are applicable per application. The visa fee can be paid together or separately as per applicant’s requirements.

New Zealand Visa Application Centre will accept all of the payment in PHP currency only.

Step 4 :

Applicants may submit their completed Visa Application form along with all the required supporting documents in-person or via a representative at the New Zealand Visa Application Centre from Monday to Friday 8:00-16:00 (except public holidays).

Applicants may submit their application, along with all other required supporting documents by walking-in, or via courier.

We strongly recommend submitting bulk applications (5 or more applications) between 8:00 to 12:00 at the Cebu and Manila Visa Application Centres.

Step 5 :

Once application is lodged you can track application and opt either to pick up from the NZVAC or get it couriered out. For Overseas return applicant must provide a pre-paid International courier envelope.

Terms and condition:

  • If the visa fee, VAC service fee and the courier fee are not paid, the NZVAC will not be able to lodge your visa application and it may be returned to you.
  • Kindly be informed that visa fee, VAC service fee and other optional additional service(s) fees are non-refundable if the visa application is refused, withdrawn, and or if the optional service(s) are cancelled by the applicant.
  • The original NZVAC payment receipt should be handed over during the passport collection. If the original receipt was lost, kindly provide a statement letter from the primary applicant along with his/her copy of ID. If the original receipt was lost and the passport need to be collected by a representative, kindly provide an authorization letter from the primary applicant along with copies of ID of the primary applicant and the representative.

Postal application

Applications can be submitted their application by post to NZVAC in Manila and Cebu. Applications can be sent by the applicants chosen courier company or they can opt for NZVAC courier service to pick up the documents from the comfort of their own home or office.

Important: New Zealand Post (NZ Post) has made some changes to their international courier service. If you are sending documents from New Zealand to the Philippines NZVAC you must now include the below details of the receiver:

If you are making enquiries or following up about an application do not contact the person mentioned above and instead follow the established process for contacting the NZVAC.

 

Step 5:

Passport Handling-Online Application

Some applicants are required to provide their passport. If you need to provide your passport, you would have been advised of this on the ‘Thank you’ page when you submitted your Immigration ONLINE visa application. If you are not sure if you need to provide your passport, login to your Immigration ONLINE account, open the application PDF and look at the advice on the last page.

If you were not instructed to provide your passport, you do not need to provide anything else to Immigration New Zealand at this time. Immigration New Zealand will contact you if they need your passport or any other information.

If you were instructed to provide your passport, to avoid delays please ensure you read the following steps carefully:

Step 1 :

You need to provide

  • your ORIGINAL passport
  • printout of the ONLINE confirmation page or your ONLINE application reference number if available
  • your contact information: phone, e-mail and return courier address (if applicable)
  • the Visa Application Centre (VAC) passport handling fee (plus any applicable courier fees) either in person, through a representative or by post.

Step 2 :

The VFS Global Service Fee are applicable per application.
