Disclaimer and Privacy Policy

VFS GCC LLC (hereinafter referred to as VFS) is an outsource partner of The Immigration New Zealand in UAE. In this capacity, VFS receives from Applicants applying for a New Zealand Visa, the required documents and applicable fees for further processing. After the visa applications are assessed by the Visa Section of the Immigration New Zealand in Dubai, VFS returns the documents back to the Applicants, except where the Immigration New Zealand elects to return such documents directly to an Applicant.

VFS do hereby state that they have no role whatsoever in the assessment, grant or refusal of a visa application, which is the sole prerogative of the Visa Section of the Immigration New Zealand in Dubai. VFS is neither involved in the process nor is in any manner liable or responsible for any delay in the processing or rejection of any visa applications, once the documents have been delivered to the Immigration New Zealand.

While VFS takes every precaution in handling passports and documents submitted by the applicants, VFS shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the documents for any reason whatsoever or in any manner howsoever. Further, VFS shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever to any visa applicant/s for any documents lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (acts of God) or any other reason outside the control of, or not arising out of any willful act or default by VFS. VFS does not warrant or guarantee the delivery of the documents, material or information as a visa applicant may require, but will extend and provide services to the extent and to the points as notified and communicated to a visa applicant.

Where the Applicant avails of the Courier Acceptance Service or Courier Return Service, the Applicant confirms and is aware that the courier acceptance and delivery services have been operated by the third party and VFS do not assure any responsibility or liability for any deficiency in service on part of the courier company in case a passport or other documents are lost or damaged in transit. VFS expressly disclaims any and all liability for any delay, loss or damage caused to the Applicant in the event that such visa applicant's documents are delayed/ misplaced/lost/damaged by the courier company, whether such delay/misplacement/loss/damage results from negligence, accident or any other cause whatsoever. In no event shall VFS and/or its representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever due to such delay/misplacement/loss/damage of the documents, including but not limited to the visa applicant's passport. It is understood that courier services are arranged only on the request of visa applicant/s and VFS assumes no obligation for the same. Applicants remedy, if any will be only against the courier company and the visa applicant/s consents to the same.

VFS shall not be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage that may be caused to the Applicant due to the loss of passport and related documents. It is expressly understood that when the Applicant or representative of the Applicant submits the passport and related documents along with the applicable visa fees, the Applicant has understood the terms and conditions and details as mentioned herein. The fees once paid by the Applicant are not refundable under any circumstances. All payments must be made as per the offered method of payment.

Advertising material may accompany along with the documents returned back to the Applicant. If the Applicant does not wish to receive any advertising material along with the passport and related documents, the Applicant must intimate VFS in advance. Please note that no advertising material sent back with the passport and related documents has the endorsement of the New Zealand Government.

VFS may at any time change, amend and amplify the contents of the disclaimer mentioned herein. Except as stated elsewhere, all amended terms shall automatically be effective as at the time of accessing the website and using the services.

Any claims or disputes that may arise of any nature whatsoever, will be resolved by the court of competent jurisdiction in UAE to the exclusion of all other courts.

Beware of fraudulent job offers

Fraudulent Recruitment / Employment Offers

It has come to VFS Global’s attention that, individuals misrepresenting themselves as VFS Global’ agents or representatives have approached people to offer fraudulent/fictitious employment opportunities, with the intent to steal personal information or solicit money from people. We encourage you to exercise caution and common sense when receiving any such employment offer, which requires payment of any fees/money, or promises a work visa in exchange for money. The said offers are completely fake and not valid. VFS Global is not a Recruitment agency and does not offer recruitment services. Scammers operate primarily via the internet, email, phone etc. We warn people to beware of such scams.

Please be advised that, VFS Global is a visa processing company and we work only with government and diplomatic missions to fulfil their administrative requirements of visa application processing. Neither VFS Global nor its representatives will ask for money from individuals under any circumstances to lure them with employment opportunities either in VFS Global or outside. If you receive any offer that purports to be from VFS Global, which ask for money, these types of offers are fraudulent.

Warning signs of recruitment fraud

The following are some examples of recruitment fraud which are in violation of VFS Global’s processes and ethical practices:

  • The email is not sent from an official VFS Global e-mail address but from a free e-mail service such as: Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc. It is also possible that, the email is sent from a fake email address.
  • You are asked to disclose private or confidential information.
  • You are asked to be interviewed over the phone or via an instant-messenger type program.
  • You are requested to pay fees/money.
  • You are requested to complete bogus recruitment documentations such as an application or employment visa forms, (the VFS Global name and logo could be forged/fabricated and featured on the documentation without authority).
  • Insistence on urgency.
  • Money will be requested for processing Work Permits, Visa applications or the like.

Such actions are presumably intended to defraud or obtain personal information from the victims.

The activities of these individuals involve criminal and civil liabilities. While VFS Global takes such matter seriously and reserves its right to contact competent law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute such illegal activities, it is often difficult to locate and prosecute these individuals.

Therefore, if you receive a request, either in writing or verbally, for an interview or a job offer that you believe is or might be fraudulent or suspicious, please disregard them. You may also verify the same with VFS Global at communications@vfsglobal.com

If you come to know that a fraud is being perpetrated, we encourage to forthwith contact your local police and/or any competent authorities and also to keep us informed by reporting the fraud at acco@vfsglobal.com

Under no circumstances will VFS Global be liable or responsible for any loss, damages, expenses or inconvenience resulting from these unauthorized persons and/or activities.
