All about your Visas
Apart from Norway Long stay applications, only short-term visa applications (Schengen Visa Applications) to Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and Finland are accepted at the VFS application centre
Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on weather you will be granted a visa and how much time it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
Please go to the link “All about visas” to understand details of Short Stay visas and Long Stay visas.
Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the visa application centers / Consulate/ Embassy.

Required documents for all visa Categories
please note that the following essentials must be met by all applicants submitting their applications for visa.

Passport with at least three months validity from the date of entering into Schengen Area.
Relevant Forms & Photograph, Fully completed application form appropriate to the type of visa and supplementary form requested with two original passport-size photographs [NB: digital photographs not acceptable]

VISA APPLYING
PROCESS

Step 1
Schengen visa applications and applications for work and residence permits for Norway are accepted at the VFS application centre

Step 2
Visa applicants who wish to apply for a Schengen visa requested to fill in the application form online using the secure Application Portal before submitting their supporting documents at the Norwegian Visa Application Centre. For more information on how to register your application online, please click here . Please note that applications for residence and work permits may not be registered on the Application Portal.

Those who register their applications online using the Application Portal prior to showing up at the Norwegian Visa Application Centre may pay the handling fee of 60 Euros online using a credit/debit card (Mastercard or Visa), and then book an appointment for when they would like to show up at the Norwegian Application Centre to submit their passport and supporting documents. Applicants with a prior appointment will be given priority and may go straight to an available counter without having to wait in line. We highly recommend that all applications for Schengen visas and 7-day entry visas are registered online prior to showing up at the Application Centre as this contributes to a more efficient and smooth process, and less waiting time for the applicant.

It is also possible for the sponsor in Norway to complete all, or part of the online process for the applicant (e.g. log on and pay the application fee).

Applicants who have not registered their applications online prior to showing up at the Norwegian Visa Application Centre, may register their applications online at the Visa Application Centre using designated kiosks. Please make sure that you bring a credit/debit card with you to ensure that the visa handling fee of 60 Euros may be paid online using the Application Portal.

Step 3
If you are applying for a Schengen visa, please go to the link “All about visas” for more information about the application process and documentation requirements.
It you are applying for residence or work permit, please go to the link ‘All about residence permits’ for more information about the application process and documentation requirements.

Step 4
Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Visa Application Centres / Consulate/ Embassy.
