From Tuesday 6 April 2010 all applicants applying for Schengen visa to Norway,
Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Finland no longer need an appointment
with the Royal Norwegian Embassy, please contact or visit VFS in Joint Schengen
Visa Application Center, World Trade Center, East tower, Level 06 ,Colombo 01.
to submit the application on your own convenience in the opening hours of the
VFS application Centre. This also applies for applications for long stay or
residence permit in Norway. |

Applicants, who already have an appointment with the Embassy to submit their
application, can visit VFS Application centre at any convenient time after 6
April 2010. Applicants with prior appointments will also be contacted by VFS. |

The visa fees are subject to change. It is advisable to check the website for
the current visa fees before applying. |
