Q.1 Do I need a visa to go to Singapore?
Ans Yes, all foreigners except need a visa to enter Singapore.
   
Q.2 Can I get a visa to enter Singapore on arrival?
Ans No, you must obtain a visa prior to taking a flight to Singapore. Visa cannot be obtained on arrival in Singapore and immigration authorities will not permit any foreigner to enter Singapore without a visa.
   
Q.3 I will be going to study in Singapore for one semester/trimester University. Which visa should I apply for?
Ans You should apply for an Entry Visa along with a copy of the offer letter stating the terms of internship. The Entry visa may be converted into a student visa during your stay in Singapore.
   
Q.4 I applied for a visa for Singapore but I have changed my mind about going to Singapore. Can I claim a refund of visa fee?
Ans Visa fees are non-refundable once the visa application is accepted and cannot be refunded even if the visa is refused/not granted.

Service charges are also non-refundable even if the visa is refused/not granted.
   
Q.5 My application and passport have been submitted and it has been a while, how can I enquire about the status of my application?
Ans You can trace your application on line by visiting our website http://www.vfsglobal.com/singapore/saudiarabia/index.html
   
Q.6 How do I know when my passport is ready for collection from the Visa Application Centre?
Ans Please track your passport by logging on the website to check the status of your passport.
   
Q.7 Can I collect my passport from the Singapore Embassy, Riyadh?
Ans No. The passport has to be collected from the place where the application was made.
   
Q.8 Do I have to submit my passport along with my visa application?
Ans No. You may choose not to submit the passport along with the application, however you are required to bring the passport along for Visa stamping.
   
Q.9 How do I pay for the visa charges and service charges?
Ans Visa fee and services charges need to be paid in cash at the Singapore Visa Application Center, Riyadh in person.
   
Q.10 Can I apply for an e-Visa?
Ans E-Visa is only give to Level 1 countries.


Visa Application
Process

Step 1
Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy. Step 2
Complete you visa application form and affix your photograph. You may download the form from this websites. Also, please mention name along with surname of father and spouse, if applicable.

Step 3
Ensure photos are as per specifications.

Step 4
Attach all supporting documents required as per checklist. Make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications are not accepted.

Step 5
Submit your application at the VFS centre in Riyadh along with the applicable fees in cash.

Step 6
Track your application online

Step 7
Collect your passport from the Visa Application Centre or wait for courier delivery.
