SMS Service - track your application

What does it offer?
SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone informing you what stage your application is within the process. The service supports the transfer of SMS text into the English language only and re-assures you that your visa application is progressing towards the final stages of the visa application process. At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message (in English only) to your registered email address, informing you that the South African Embassy has made a decision on your visa application and your documents have been returned.

You can buy this service for 400 only (VAT included), at the same time you submit your visa application form and supporting documents at the visa application centre.

	Premium lounge service VFS premium service lounge facilities are available at the Visa Application Centers. You may contact VFS staff at the centre to avail the facility. The premium service lounge offers:
	Separate lounge with personalized service by dedicated staff
	light refreshments
	Faster submission of applications at the visa application centre

Important note: Your visa will be processed and decided by the South African High Commission. Using this service does not guarantee that you will be issued a visa. All applicants will be required to follow the instructions on applying for a visa, which can be found on the 'All about your visa' page on this website.

What does it cost?

The Premium Service Lounge facilities are charged at:
a) 10000 Naira per adult-including taxes per application
b) 5000 Naira per child from 5years to 18years old- including taxes per application.
(Please note that all children below the age of 5years will NOT be charged for the Premium Service Lounge facilities.)
This charge is in addition to the Visa application fee and VFS service fee.

Timings - The service is available from 8am till 3 pm.

Important: This service does not guarantee a faster turn around time for the processing of visa applications by the South African High Commission. This value added service is optional.

Photocopying service

There is a photocopying service at the visa application centre for a fee of 30 Naira for each photocopied sheet.

Note: This value added service is optional.

Photographer Service

There is a photographer available at both the Visa Application Centres. The cost is 1500 Naira for 8 copies.
