The Consulate General of Spain in Cairo has outsourced appointment scheduling for Schengen visas. The Visa Call and Information Center has no impact on the outcome of the visa decision or the processing time. Visa applications for Spain will continue to be made at the Consulate General of Spain but with prior appointment taken through the Appointment System managed by VFS.

This site is a part of the Embassy of Spain, Cairo, to ease the visa application process for the citizens and residents in provinces belongs to Cairo. The visa applications could be submitted at the Spain Visa Application Centre in Cairo.Applications submitted in Cairo, should only correspond to residents NOT coming from the Governorates of Alexandria, Dumiat, Behera, Dakahlia, Kafr El Sheikh, Menufia, Sharkie, Gharbie and Marsa Matruh. Spain embassy accepts non-Egyptians who has resident visa and residing in governates under it’s geographical scope.

If you wish to apply for a visa to visit Spain, please read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you to prepare your application as accurately as possible and to avoid submitting an incomplete application.

Please note that personal appearance is required, a Visa / Immigrations officer may require a personal interview at The Embassy of Spain, prior to a decision being taken on your application. The Visa Application Centre shall assist you to take an appointment for the same.

Fingerprints new process,

Our Spain visa application center must inform the public about the possibility of applying for a visa without having to provide the fingerprints, if the applicant has obtained a visa in last 06 months, and is able to show this visa.
In any case, the diplomatic mission or consular section always reserves the right to request the applicant to again provide his/her fingerprint.

Visa Application Process
Step 1 : Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.
Step 2 : Book an appointment {Free of Charge} to visit Visa Application Centre (Strongly recommended): To avoid waiting time due to high volume of applicants applying at the same time, we strongly recommend you book an appointment before visiting the Visa Application Centre. More details available under Schedule an Appointment. Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit.
You will be receiving an email and SMS on mobile number given by you within the 1 hour from submitting your appointment included verification Code to be entered on Manual OTP, if you didn’t confirm your appointment, your appointment will be canceled automatically and you won’t be able to submit your documents and you won’t be able to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Step 3 : Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.
Step 4 : Pay applicable Fee: Please check ‘Visa Fee’ table provided under the visa category you are applying for. Visa Application Centre accepts the fee in cash only. Submission Officer at the Visa Application Centre will advise you on total payable amount in local currency only (EGP). A receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.

Track Your Application Online
After submission of documents at the Visa Application Centre, you can also check status of your application online by simply providing the unique VAC Reference Number and your Date of Birth. VAC reference number (starts with SPCR) can be found on the Invoice-Cum-Receipt provided by the Submission Officer at the application centre at the time of submission.
