VFS Global has been appointed as the outsourced partner by the Embassy of Spain in Cairo, to facilitate visa applications to Spain and Schengen countries. This site is a part of the Embassy of Spain, Cairo, to ease the visa application process for the citizens and residents in provinces belongs to Cairo. The visa applications could be submitted at the Spain Visa Application Centre in Cairo.Applications submitted in Cairo, should only correspond to residents NOT coming from the Governorates of Alexandria, Dumiat, Behera, Dakahlia, Kafr El Sheikh, Menufia, Sharkie, Gharbie and Marsa Matruh. Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the risk of your application being incomplete or take a longer time to being processed.

Please note that personal appearance may be required, a Visa / Immigrations officer may require a personal interview at The Embassy of Spain, prior to a decision being taken on your application. The Visa Application Centre shall assist you to take an appointment for the same.

Step 1 :	Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.
Step 2 :	Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre (Strongly recommended): To avoid waiting time due to high volume of applicants applying at the same time, we strongly recommend you book an appointment before visiting the Visa Application Centre. More details available under Schedule an Appointment. Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit.
Step 3 :	Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.
Step 4 :	Pay applicable Fee: Please check ‘Visa Fee’ table provided under the visa category you are applying for. Visa Application Centre accepts the fee in CASH ONLY. Submission Officer at the Visa Application Centre will advise you on total payable amount in local currency only (EGP). A receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre. Please ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Visa Application Centre.

After submission of documents at the Visa Application Centre, you can also check status of your application online by simply providing the unique VAC Reference Number and your Date of Birth. VAC reference number (starts with SPCR) can be found on the Invoice-Cum-Receipt provided by the Submission Officer at the application centre at the time of submission.
