Spain Visa Information - Jordan - All About Your Visas

VFS has been appointed as an outsourced partner by the Embassy of Spain in Jordan, to facilitate short stay visa applications to Spain.

Visa applications will be accepted at the VFS office in Amman.

Foreign nationals who wish to travel to Spain must be in possession of a visa, unless they are nationals from countries which are not included in the list of countries with the obligation to carry a visa in order to cross external borders for stays in the Schengen Area of no more than three months (90 days) in a period of six months (180 days) from the date of entry into the Schengen Area.

In case the applicant intends to visit various Schengen countries the country responsible to issue the relevant visa for the entire duration of the trip, including for other Schengen countries will be determined in the following order:

1.	The Embassy of the country in which the traveller is going to stay the longest.
2.	If the traveller is to stay the same time in different Schengen countries, the Embassy of the country of first entry.

Please note granting a visa is the prerogative of the Embassy for each application. Submission of all the documents does not imply “right” to be granted a visa.

Plan ahead. Schedule an appointment through our website as soon as possible. Visa processing normally takes 25 days, we recommend you to apply at least four weeks before your planned travel. This process is required by Schengen regulations and it cannot be waived or expedited.

Step 3

Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on how to fill out your visa application. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how long it will take to process your application, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Spain in Jordan.
