Short-term visas
The following purposes of visits qualify as “Short Term Visit”.

2. Visit to Family and Friends ( includes boyfriend, girlfriend, EEA National Spouse)

While completing the Visa Application Form ensure.

All visa applications should be signed by the applicant personally.
All fields in the application form must be filled in correctly, incomplete forms may cause delay in processing or even rejection

The Embassy reserves the right to request additional documents and/or information when processing the application

Non-Libyan nationals must stay legally in Libya, either on the basis of a visa for Libya or on a valid work/residence permit in Libya.
VISA APPLYING
PROCESS

Step 1
Go to the link “All about your Visas” to choose the right Short Term Visa category for you and understand the requirements to make the visa application.

Step 2
Click the link ‘BOOK AN APPOINTMENTTO THE EMBASSY OF SPAIN’ or call our Call Center and follow the instructions for selecting a suitable appointment date from the available appointments.

Step 3
Pay the VFS service charge through a secured channel online, or the Interactive Voice Response Service and get confirmation of your selected date

Step 4
Print your Interview Appointment confirmation letter gather all the supporting documents and report for the visa interview at the Embassy on the scheduled date. Kindly ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Embassy of Spain.
