13.12.2010 VISA Warning
There are a number of visa agents in operation both in and outside of Bangkok, including agencies in the immediate vicinity of the VFS Swedish Visa Application Centre at Amarin Tower.

Please be informed that any decision to utilize the service of a visa agent is entirely at the applicants’ discretion. However, it is important to note that these agents are in no way whatsoever connected to the Embassy of Sweden and that they have no influence over the outcome of a submitted application. It is also important to note that some of the visa agents charge an unreasonably high fee for services which are not deemed necessary when submitting an application. The Swedish Embassy has also found that some visa agents help applicants to fabricate information and documents in order to increase the chance for the visa to be granted. We strongly advise applicants not to use visa agents who offer to fabricate information in connection with a visa application as it will lead to a rejection by the Swedish Embassy if the information submitted is found to be false. If any visa agent suggests that they can influence the outcome of your application to be submitted we urge you to inform the Swedish Embassy immediately.

If applicants or sponsors have any questions related to the visa and/or residence permit application applying process, please visit the Swedish Embassy website for more information:
