The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee (ADECDC) has reintroduced the need for a Green Pass on Alhosn App, effective 20 August 2021. It is now mandatory for all visitors to present Alhosn App showing the Green pass at the public entrances of the mall to be granted access to the Australian Visa Application Centre in Abu Dhabi. Children under 16 years, whose status will appear as Green on Alhosn App without the requirement of a test, will also be allowed entry.
Customers intending to schedule their Australian biometric submission appointment in Abu Dhabi need to meet this requirement or you will be asked to return once you have a Green Pass on Alhosn App, and your current appointment cancelled. In keeping with the latest announcement by the State of Qatar, Ministry of Public Health, Ehteraz Application is to be download by all customers visiting malls or offices. Entry to the Australian Visa Application Center in Qatar will be limited to those customers whose status in the Ehteraz Application is Green.

In keeping with the latest directive from the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, effective 01 Aug 2021, entry to the Australian Visa Application Centres in Al Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh will be restricted to customers showing an “Immuned” status on their Tawakkalna App. Customers intending to schedule their Australian Biometric submission appointment in Saudi Arabia will need to meet this requirement or you will be asked to return when you have met this requirement, and your current appointment cancelled. The COVID-19 Emergency Committee in Kuwait announced, effective Sunday, 27 June 21, non-vaccinated people will be barred from entering large public spaces in Kuwait such as malls, restaurants, gyms and salons. People who have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, with their vaccination status in the ‘Immune’ or ‘my Mobile ID’ application showing as Green or Orange will be permitted entry inside the mall. Those whose status is showing as Red will be denied entry.

The Australian Visa Applications Centres in the GCC resumed limited operations on 02 November 2020 for Biometrics collection, strictly by appointment. Operational day for Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia : Monday

Customers are required to make a prior appointment before visiting the centre as no walk-in appointments or in-person information services will be available. Customers needing assistance with completing their Visa form online can avail the service at the Visa Application Centres, for an additional fee. Please make this selection at the time of making your appointment.
Travel restrictions are in place and subject to change. You cannot come to Australia unless you are in an exempt category or you have been granted an individual exemption to the current travel restrictions.
