    Australian Visa Application Centre in Nepal resumes limited operation from 21st September 2020 to assist customers with their Biometric enrolment for the following two subclasses only:

    1. 500 – Student
    2. 590 – Student Guardian

    Customers are required to make a prior appointment before visiting the centre as no walk-in appointments or in-person information services will be available. Customers needing assistance with completing their Visa form online can avail this service at the Visa Application Centre, for an additional fee. Please make this selection at the time of making your appointment.

    In light of the current COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) outbreak, our standard operation remains impacted and customers will not be able to avail any other services until further notice. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and kind co-operation.     In light of the current COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) outbreak, all visa applicants from Nepal are encouraged to apply online only. With effect from Monday, 23 March 2020, the Australian Visa Application Centre in Nepal will only be able to accept Biometrics for applications lodged Online.

    Upcoming changes to child visas – effective 01 April 2020

    The Department of Home Affairs have advised - 01 April 2020, all new applications for these following visa subclasses:

    • Child (Subclass 101)
    • Adoption (Subclass 102)
    • Orphan Relative (Subclass 117)

    will need to be posted to:

    or, the application should be delivered by courier service to:

    Applicants will still be required to provide their biometrics upon receipt of a requirement letter from the Department.
