    Upcoming changes to child visas – effective 01 April 2020

    The Department of Home Affairs have advised - 01 April 2020, all new applications for these following visa subclasses:

    • Child (Subclass 101)
    • Adoption (Subclass 102)
    • Orphan Relative (Subclass 117)
    • Dependent Child (Subclass 445)

    will need to be posted to:

    or, the application should be delivered by courier service to:

    With effect from 01 September 2019 is a revision in VFS Service Fee. The new service charge as the list below

    Primary applicant Fee THB 895
    Secondary applicant Fee (in the same application) THB 626

    VFS Global (Visa Application Center for Australia in Thailand) on 28th Floor of Trendy Building is the only authorized Visa servicing facility by the Embassy of Australia.

    VFS Global shall not be responsible/liable for any transactions that the applicant/ customer has with any Travel Agents or any other third party either in the building or outside who might claim to be authorized agents for Visa servicing or for VFS Global. Any applicant shall do such transaction/s at his/her/their own risk, cost and expenses.

    From 01 July 2019, all Working Holiday applications and Work and Holiday applications (excluding China which is still a paper application for first visas) must be lodged online via ImmiAccount ONLY, Paper Applications will no longer be accepted at the Visa Application Centre unless this has been authorised by the department.

    Mandatory online lodgement applies to the following applications:

    • All Working Holiday (subclass 417) applications (both First and Second)
    • All First Work and Holiday (subclass 462) applications from all countries (except China)
    • All Second Work and Holiday (subclass 462) applications

    Effective 02 March 2019, applications for the Medical Treatment Visa (subclass 602) must be lodged online, via ImmiAccount ONLY. Paper applications lodged from this date for this visa subclasses will be considered invalid and returned to the applicant together with payment of the visa application charge.

    Information for APEC business travel card holders

    If you hold an APEC card valid for travel to Australia you are able to enter and leave Australia without applying for a visa.
