  • Upcoming changes to child visas – effective 01 April 2020

    The Department of Home Affairs have advised -  01 April 2020, all new applications for these following visa subclasses:

    • Child (Subclass 101)
    • Adoption (Subclass 102)
    • Orphan Relative (Subclass 117)

    COVID-19 update – Travel restrictions, Isolation requirements.

    As part of its response to managing the Covid-19 outbreak the New Zealand Government announced on Saturday 14 March 2020 further border measures.   • Travel restrictions extended - Immediately in Effect

    The Australian Government announced on March 11, 2020 that travel restrictions will apply to passengers from Italy. Travel restrictions remain for travellers from any region of mainland China, Iran or the Republic of Korea.

  • Travel restrictions extended - Immediately in Effect

    The Australian Government announced on 05 March 2020 that travel restrictions will be imposed for passengers from the Republic of Korea and that restrictions will continue for passengers from the mainland of China or any part of Iran.

  • Update on Travel Restrictions - Immediately in Effect

    The Australian Government announced the following on 29 February 2020, effective from 01 March 2020; Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade raised the level of travel alert for Iran from level 3 to level 4 - do not travel

    Foreign nationals (except those who have a permanent residence from Australia) in Iran on or after 01 March 2020 will not be allowed to enter Australia for 14 days from the moment they leave Iran or cross Iran borders.

    Australian citizens and individuals with permanent residence will be able to enter, such as close family members (spouses, legal guardians or only dependents). They will be asked to isolate themselves at home for 14 days from the day they leave Iran.

    Travel restrictions extended with limited exemptions - Immediate Australian Government announced on February 27, 2020 that travel restrictions will continue for another week until March 07, 2020 Limited exemptions on travel restrictions for students in grade 11 and 12 in China on February 22, 2020 The 11th and 12th grade students staying in China due to Australian travel restrictions have been given a definitive way to continue their studies, aware of the importance of the last two years of the school.
