Additional Services

The services mentioned here are optional. To use them, you will need to pay an extra fee in addition to the Visa Application Fees. You must pay this extra fee when you attend the Visa Application Centre only.

Mode of payment for all the services listed below is Cash. A formal receipt will be generated for every completed transaction.

Online Visa Assist (Immi Account)

This facility is available for an additional fee of BDT 1,250/- (per application) including the supporting documents upload. Service charge will include upload of any subsequent documents as per the request of the Australian High Commission / Embassy Only.

Online Health Declaration (HAP ID)

Applicants can save time with the convenience of generating Online Health Declaration (HAP ID) at the Visa Application Centre. Appointed staff will provide assistance to visa applicants for completing and generating the Health Declaration.

The cost for this service is BDT 500.00 per application.


  • These photographs meet the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs photo specifications. BDT 214 / 4 Copies (Dhaka)

Document Witnessing

  • Applicants can certify their Documents by AVAC Staff, the service fee for witnessing the documents is BDT 20/- per page.

Document Scanning & Email

  • Applicants can scan and Email their documents by using Internet KIOSK. The service fee for per page document scanning and Email is BDT 30/-

Document Printing

  • Applicant can print their document using the internet KIOSK. The service fee for per page document printing is BDT 32/-

Premium Lounge

The VFS Global Premium Service Lounge facilities are available at the Australian visa application center in Dhaka. The Premium Lounge Service includes:

  • Separate lounge with personalized service by dedicated staff
  • Refreshments
  • Faster submission of applications at the visa application centre
  • Use of photo booth (if required)
  • Premium Service Lounge

Important note: Your visa application will be processed and decided by the Department of Home Affairs . Use of the Premium Lounge does not affect the processing time of your application. All applicants will be required to follow the instructions on applying for a visa, which can be found on the How to apply page.

What does it cost?

The Premium Service Lounge facilities cost BDT 2674/- including taxes. This charge is in addition to the visa application fee.

Do I need to book an Appointment?

You may wish to book an appointment for the Premium Lounge, so that we can facilitate your application submission in time. Please schedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your desired appointment date. When you request an appointment, please provide the following details in the mail:

  • Full name of Applicant
  • Number of Applicants
  • Visa Category
  • Contact Numbers
  • The Date you want to apply

Once you have Scheduled your Premium Lounge appointment you will receive an email confirming the date and time of your appointment. Please print the premium lounge  appointment confirmation and bring it with you on the date of your appointment.

Please note that prior appointment is not mandatory.

Assisted Form Filling (Paper Application)

The assisted form filling service is a service that VFS offers to its clients at the Australian Visa Application Centres. Appointed staff will assist a visa applicant to complete a visa application form (Paper form only) at the VAC as an optional service. The cost for this service is BDT 1000/- per application.

ETA - Assisted Terminal

Appointed staff will provide assistance to visa applicants for completing an ETA/E visitor application form at the VAC as an optional service. For eligibility criteria, please click here.

  • The cost for this service is BDT 1000/- per application.
  • NB: Applicant must have to bring his/her own International Credit card to pay the ETA fees online


SMS news updates will be sent to you informing you of the status of your visa application. Once purchased you will receive several automated feedback messages to your mobile phone at various stages of the visa application process.

At the end of the process you will receive an automated email message to your registered email address provided in your application form, informing you that the Australian High Commission has arrived at a decision with regard to your application.

Please note that this SMS service will not update you on requests for additional documents or information made by the Embassy/High Commission. These requests will be sent via your email address.

You can buy this SMS service for an additional fee of BDT 150/- (per application) at the same time you submit your visa application form and supporting documents at the visa application centre.

Non-Urgent Walk in Appointment

Applicants can walk in to the VFS Centre to submit their visa application without appointment. The VFS service fee for Walk in Appointment is BDT 2041/- per person.
