Now that you are ready with all your documents, form and other requirements, applicants can now locate and visit the Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) to apply for their visa to Australia. If you are applying in person, you are required to make an appointment with the AVAC to lodge your application. If you are applying via post, you do not require an appointment.
Each application shall be paid with visa fee and service fee. These are paid separately. You may refer to the payment options for further information for both in-person and postal applications.
Please ensure that you read the Security Regulations carefully and follow mentioned instructions before you visit the AVAC in Hong Kong, China.
Besides applying at AVAC in person, applicants can also apply for Australia Visa by sending their visa applications via Post to the AVAC with visa fee paid to Australian Consulate General Hong Kong and service charge paid to Glory Visa Consulting Company Limited. If applicants choose sending applications via post, applicant must prepare for two bank drafts for the full amount in HKD, one for Visa fees and the other for services charge.
VFS service charge per applicant:
358 HKD per applicant for regular visa application as the main applicant (including biometrics collection)
340 HKD per applicant for biometrics collection only

Payments using credit cards are processed in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) only (Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay) at Australian Visa Application Centre. A credit card surcharge will apply to transactions made using Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay for visa fees and service fees.

All visas for clients residing in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan are processed "label free". Please provide a copy of your passport with your application. You do not need to provide your original passport to us. Further information on "label free" arrangements is available on our website:
Important note for visa applicants:
Applicants must lodge a complete and signed application form for the appropriate visa subclass, pay the appropriate visa fee and service charges. Application forms for persons aged under 18 years must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
All supporting documents and information should be submitted together with the application. Any documents that are not in English must be accompanied by an English translation (except for financial documents).
To avoid possible delays, you should include all relevant information and additional documentation in support of your application at the time of lodgment.
If you do not provide all the specified documentation at the time you lodge your application a decision may be made on the basis of the available information. Australian migration legislation permits a decision to be taken at any time after the application has been lodged.
