Important Information

  • Please be informed that non-essential trips in and out of Belgium are prohibited from Wednesday 27 January to Monday 1 March 2021. Only essential travel is allowed during this period. Anyone travelling to or from Belgium (essential trip) will be required to carry a sworn statement.   • Please note that the VFS service fee for Belgium visa application is set to change from 01 January 2021. The fee will be increased by Euro 5.5 per application (charged in local currency).

    Due to urgent repair works foreseen at the Embassy of Belgium, the visa section will be closed between 19 December 20 and 04 January 21. No visa application for Belgium will be accepted during the entire period.

  • Kindly note that effective from 12th of October 2020, applicants applying for Family Reunion must book their appointment under “Family Reunion Category” since representative from the embassy will be at Belgium Visa Application center to conduct an interview every Tuesday.
  • Due to the current entry restrictions to Belgium, Belgium Visa Application Center reopens for reception of applications for Students as of Wednesday 08 July 2020 and other limited categories as of 14 July 2020 on behalf of the Embassy of Belgium in Beirut.

  • In accordance with the Visa Code, every visa applicant reserves the right to submit his or her visa application directly at the Belgian Embassy or Consulate competent for his/her place of residence. In order to do so, the applicant is required to schedule an appointment by email with the mission concerned.
