The Embassy of Denmark in Iran is pleased to announce that VFS GCC LLC has been chosen as the service provider for managing the visa application submission in Tehran. Visa applications must be submitted at the Denmark Visa Application Centres in Tehran. All applications will be assessed by the Embassy of Denmark in Tehran.

Currently, you can only enter Denmark if you have a worthy purpose. Read more about what constitutes a worthy purpose on the website of the Danish Police. NB: Note that the worthy purposes are further restricted during the period 9-17 January 2021.

Denmark Visa Application Center now accepting applications from banned or high-risk countries; Applicants in Iran can apply for short term stay visa category
Effective 07 December 2020, Denmark Visa Application Centre in Tehran will resume partial operations accepting applications for short term stay category on every Sunday and Tuesday from 08:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs.
To submit an application, visit the Denmark Visa Application Centre in Tehran by scheduling an appointment on this website. Applicants applying from Iran can visit Denmark only if they have a worthy purpose.
Important information when entering Denmark
If you arrive from a country classified as a banned country, you must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before entry. If you fail to present such a test, you must expect to be refused entry as from Monday, 26 October 2020.

Courier return of passports made mandatory for Denmark visa customers in Tehran
Effective 01 September 2020, in light of the COVID-19 alert and keeping in mind the health and safety of our customers and employees, the courier service for return of passports to Denmark visa customers in Tehran has been made mandatory.
Customers no longer need to visit the Visa Application Centre to pick up their passport. Once ready for collection, the passport will be couriered to their location of choice (serviceable by our courier partner, Aramex & TNT).
Courier fees of Euro 10 per application (inside Tehran) and Euro 14 per application (outside Tehran) will apply.
The courier service has been made mandatory for a temporary period to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and reduce the footfall at the Visa Application Centre.
We will post an update on this page when the courier service is made optional again.
