Please be advised that on Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 Israel will hold a National Elections Day to elect its 24th Parliament members.
Visa applicants may please be informed that the Visa Application Centre in Tel Aviv, Israel will be closed on 23rd March 2021 in lieu of the Elections.
Please note, it has been decided by The Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration that residence permit applications for study (incl. Ph.D), internship, volunteers and au pair as well as their accompanying family members will be refused by SIRI as of 3 February 2021.

Denmark Visa Application Centre in Israel temporarily closed
In accordance with instructions given by the Israeli government due to COVID-19, Denmark Visa Application Centre in Tel Aviv will remain closed from 28 December 2020 until further notice.

Services to resume in Israel
The Denmark Visa Application Centre in Tel Aviv will re-open for business on Thursday , 19 November 2020 and will provide the limited services until further notice.
To submit application you must mandatory book an appointment through Helpline.
Due to COVID-19 outbreak, the VAC may be implementing additional measures to ensure health and safety of applicants.
Important information when entering Denmark
If you arrive from a country classified as a banned country, you must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before entry. If you fail to present such a test, you must expect to be refused entry as from Monday, 26 October 2020.

Mandatory courier pass-back
The courier service has been made mandatory for a temporary period to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus and reduce the footfall at the Visa Application Centre. It is expected to be in place until the risk perception of COVID-19 is significantly reduced.
We will post an update on this page when the courier service is made optional again. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Change in the service fee
Effective 01 September 2020, Visa Applicants are required to a pay service fee of ILS 52 per Applicant due to increase of service fee.
Travel Medical Insurance to have COVID-19 coverage
Visa applicants applying for short term visa in Tel Aviv must submit Travel Insurance mentioning that your insurance policy covers COVID-19 treatments.
C visa resumption
The Denmark Visa Application Centre in Tel Aviv will resume receiving C visa URGENT applications subject to approval from the Danish embassy as from 15 June 2020.
Services to resume in Israel
The Denmark Visa Application Centre in Tel Aviv will resume operations from 18 May 2020 for resident permit applications only.
ENTRY RESTRICTIONS TO DENMARK
The Danish Government has implemented extensive restrictions on entry to Denmark due to the Corona virus/COVID-19. These restrictions mean that you must expect to be rejected at the Danish borders even with a valid visa.
The only exceptions are foreign travelers who have a valid visa AND a worthy purpose for entering. Worthy purposes include travelers who are either parents or primary caretakers (e.g. foster parents) of minors residing in Denmark, visits to critically ill family members, persons who are in the process of a medical treatment in Denmark, persons who are attending a funeral in Denmark, and persons who will be part of a court case in Denmark.
