VISA FEES AT A GLANCE

Information about consular fees for Residence and Work Permits:

  • From 01.01.2011 the Danish Immigration Service has introduced service fees for handling applications for some types of work and residence permits. For more information please click here.
  • There is a service charge of 1270 RUB (inclusive of VAT) levied per application over and above the visa fees.
  • The fees are non-refundable.

* This Visa type is applicable only in urgent cases only for citizens of Russian Federation.

Service Fee

  • There is a service charge of 1270 RUB (inclusive of VAT) levied per application over and above the visa fees.
  • The applicable visa fee in Russian Rubles is as per the current exchange rate.

Following categories of persons are exempt from paying Service charge:

  1. Children under 6 years old, and
  2. Disabled persons and the person accompanying them, if necessary.

Important:

  • Visa and Service Fees are paid at the Visa Application Center in Russian Rubles.
  • The fees are non-refundable.

Visa Fees Waived Categories

  • The visa fee is waived for both Russian and non-Russian citizens belonging to one of the following categories:

    • children under six years;
    • researchers from third countries travelling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research; (as defined in Recommendation No 2005/761/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research)
    • representatives of non-profit organisations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organised by non-profit organisations.
    • pupils, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose of study or educational training;

      The visa fee is waived for only Russian citizens belonging to one of the following categories:

    • close relatives – spouses, children (including adopted), parents (including custodians), grandparents and grandchildren – of citizens of the Russian Federation legally residing in the territory of the Member States;
    • members of official delegations who, following an official invitation, participate in meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programmes as well as in events held in one of the Member States by intergovernmental organisations;
    • members of national and regional Governments and Parliaments, Constitutional Courts and Supreme Courts;
    • disabled persons and the person accompanying them, if necessary;
    • persons who have presented documents proving the necessity of their travel on humanitarian grounds, including to receive urgent medical treatment, and the person accompanying such person, or to attend a funeral of a close relative, or to visit a seriously ill close relative;
    • participants in youth international sports events and persons accompanying them;
    • participants in official exchange programmes organised by twin cities.

      Please note that some Member States grant additional visa fee waivers for specific categories of applicants.
