Denmark Visa Application Centre in Belgrade/ Serbia re-opens
Effective 01 July 20, customers can submit applications for Resident and Work permits at the Denmark Visa Application Centre in Belgrade/ Serbia, Omladinskih Brigada 88.
Due to the travel restrictions on entry into Denmark, it is temporarily not possible to apply for a visa to Denmark. This means that you cannot fill in an application online. In urgent cases where an applicant has to travel to Denmark before 31 August 2020 and has a worthy purpose for entering Denmark, the applicant must first contact the Embassy before coming to VAC. Your safety is our priority. As part of precautionary measures, customers visiting our Visa Application Centre’s are advised to wear face mask and gloves. Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including fever (higher than38 degrees Celsius), cough and difficulty breathing will be allowed to reschedule their application submission for another day and will be advised to seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility of their choice.

Due to the current entry restrictions to Denmark, all Danish visa application centers are closed. Applicants who have handed in their visa application prior to 20 March 2020 will have their case processed. For more information visit the website of the relevant Danish mission.

The Danish Government has implemented extensive restrictions on entry to Denmark due to the Corona virus/COVID-19. These restrictions mean that you must expect to be rejected at the Danish borders even with a valid visa. The only exceptions are foreign travelers who have a valid visa AND a worthy purpose for entering. Worthy purposes include visit to close family members, travelers who are either parents or primary caretakers (e.g. foster parents) of minors residing in Denmark, visits to critically ill family members, persons who are in the process of a medical treatment in Denmark, persons who are attending a funeral in Denmark, and persons who will be part of a court case in Denmark. Ordinary tourist visits, family visits and business travel are not considered worthy travel purposes. Applications will be submitted to the Danish Immigration Service for consideration. The Danish Government has implemented extensive precautionary measures due to the Corona virus/COVID-19.
You can still apply for a visa to Denmark, however additional restrictions on entry into Denmark might be imposed in the coming days. These include, among other things, the possibility of medical examination on arrival, possible quarantine on arrival from high risk areas and the possibility of rejection of foreigners arriving from high risk areas at the border.

Increased fees for visa applications
Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent
