Step 2 Before you decide to apply for a visa please make sure you familiarize yourself with the information on the visa subclass you are applying for. Quick links to information on visa categories and other helpful information including Visa Fee, VFS Service Charge and Processing Time can be found on the Visa Wizard page on this website.
Step 3 Applicants should fill the Visa Application Form corresponding to the visa subclass under which they wish to lodge their application. Applicants can get the visa application form by visiting the nearest Denmark Visa Application Centre or by downloading the forms from Applications and Forms.
Important Notification:
Please note, it has been decided by The Danish Ministry of Immigration and Integration that residence permit applications for study (incl. Ph.D), internship, volunteers and au pair as well as their accompanying family members will be refused by SIRI as of 03 February 2021.
The Danish government has presented new entry requirements applicable to all travellers entering Denmark (including Danish nationals). This means that all persons entering Denmark will be required to be tested and subsequently isolate for 10 days. The new rules will take effect from Sunday, 07 February 2021.Please read more on the Joint Website of the Danish Authorities here.

Important information when entering Denmark
From 9 January-28 February, stricter entry restrictions apply to travellers from all countries of the world who wish to enter Denmark. Please refer to the website of the Danish police as follow, Persons resident in countries outside of Denmark (coronasmitte.dk) where applicant will find a list of worthy purpose for entering Denmark, which applies to all travellers (arriving from both banned and open countries). The new entry restrictions include a flight ban on transportation of passengers from the entire world who are unable to present a negative COVID-19 test taken no later than 24 hours prior to departure. In addition, persons wishing to enter Denmark must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 24 hours before entry.

Norway
Restrictions on entry into Norway
The Norwegian Government has implemented extensive restrictions on entry into Norway due to the spread of COVID-19. As a result, foreigners who do not hold a valid residence permit in Norway will be rejected at the border and refused entry into Norway. Finland
Owing to the ongoing global COVID-19 developments, Finland application centres will not accept any visa or residence permit applications until further notice.
Residence permit applications for study (incl. Ph.D), internship, volunteers and au pair as well as their accompanying family members will be refused by Danish Agency for International Recruitment & Integration (SIRI) as of 3 February. This is resolved since these purposes are currently not considered worthy purposes for entering Denmark. Read more
This means that pending applications and applications sent from 3 February for above purposes will be refused. Applicants who have further questions regarding applications for these purposes are kindly requested to refer them to SIRI.
