  • APPLYVISA:

    NEW ONLINE VISA APPLICATION: From 01 July 2019, you should fill in your visa application and pay the application fee online using https://applyvisa.um.dk/. After you have applied and paid the visa fee online, you must print and sign the cover letter from ApplyVisa and hand in supporting documents and supply biometrics at the Visa Application Centre.   • ONLINE PAYMENT OF Residence work permit application (long stay visa):

    From 01 July 2019, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark including all Danish diplomatic missions are introducing online payment of the embassy fee for residence or work permit.

    The embassy fee should be paid online using this link https://dys.um.dk/permit/

    The receipt for the payment should be submitted at the Danish Visa Application Centre (VFS) when you hand in your passport, relevant documentation and supply biometrics.

    Please note that in R/W permit cases there are three fees to be paid.

    1) The fee to either The Danish Immigration Service or The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI), 2) the fee to the Danish embassy (using the link https://dys.um.dk/permit/) and 3) the fee to the Danish Visa Application Centre (VFS).

  • Typhoon alert for Denmark Visa Application Center

    If a weather warning is released by the Taipei City Government to close businesses and schools in the Taipei city area, applicants are able to submit their applications without appointment booking within the next 10 working days of the government issued warning. The approximate waiting times will be relayed to you when you visit the Visa Application Centre as we will accept these applications on a first-come, first served basis.

    Please note below: The appointment availability will be managed/controlled by VFS staff at our Visa Application Center according to the live typhoon updates.

  • Upon receipt of your Schengen visa it is your responsibility to check that all the information in the visa sticker is correct. If you think that some information is incorrect, please let VFS staff know and we will inform the Danish Mission immediately so that any errors can be rectified.

  • The travel medical insurance (TMI) must be purchased in Taiwan and be on the Trade Council of Denmark´s recommended list of TMI for the Schengen Area.

  • Possession of a visa does not confer an automatic right of entry and holders of a visa are requested to present proof that they fulfil the entry conditions at the external border, as provided for in Article 5 of the Visa Code.
