  • Important information when entering Denmark

    If you arrive from a country classified as a banned country, you must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before entry. If you fail to present such a test, you must expect to be refused entry as from Monday, 26 October 2020.

  • Effective from 01 September 2020, the service fee will be increased to Euro 13 (NT$455)
  • Effective from 26 October 2020 - As a new requirement, applicants from closed countries who have a worthy purpose of entering Denmark, can enter Denmark only if they present proof of a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before entry.

    1. Denmark – All foreign travellers must constitutes a worthy purpose before entry is granted into Denmark.     3. The visa application for Norway remain suspended for short stay visa with the exception of Iceland. Thus No Schengen visa application will be accepted for Norway.
  • As per 4 June 2020 VFS will be open to receive applications for essential and urgent Business Visas and Residence Permits to Denmark as well as Residence Permits to Norway.

    1. However, Denmark’s boarders remain temporary closed until 31 August and only travelers with a worth purpose of entry, Please consult the following link.

      Please note that should you have a worthy purpose of travel to Denmark and apply for a visa, it is important that the Travel Medical Insurance include coverage for COVID-19 and related illnesses.

    2. Visa application to the other Nordic countries are temporarily suspended, expect Iceland, where travellers with essential purpose are allowed to enter. For more information on essential travel to Iceland and the latest news, please refer to the Iceland Immigration Authorities or Government.

  • If you are travelling to Denmark for business and do not have permanent residence in Denmark, we encourage you to organize your business travel and meetings in Denmark in a way that minimizes the risk of becoming infected or spreading infection with novel coronavirus/COVID-19. Please follow the 5 general advice from the Danish Health Authority. We do not advise business travelers without permanent residence in Denmark to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival
