Please be informed that following the entering into force of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union on June 11, 2017, the embassy of Denmark in Ukraine will cease its visa activities and close its visa department as of August 10, 2018. The last visa applications will be accepted via the VAC-centres on Wednesday August 1, 2018 and no applications will be accepted after this date. We strongly encourage Ukrainian travellers to Denmark to apply for a biometric passport as soon as possible. The biometric passport allows for travelling without visas to EU countries for a period of stay of 90 days in any 180-day. The embassy of Denmark will continue to accept applications for Danish residence permits.
Individuals, who need to apply for a visa are referred to other Danish visa issuing missions. Please note that Denmark applies the common EU guidelines for the non-recognition of certain categories of Russian passports issued in Crimea. Please visit European Union External Action webpage for more information.
