FOR ATTENTION OF APPLICANTS INTENDING TO TRAVEL TO ICELAND IN JULY-SEPTEMBER 2019:

Iceland is currently experiencing some technical issues in processing Schengen visa applications.

Therefore applicants are kindly requested to submit their visa applications no earlier than 2 months prior to departure date. Exemptions will be made for those applicants that have travelled far for their application appointments, but they should be made aware that applications with departure date later than August will be processed 6 weeks prior to departure at the earliest.

These issues should not affect the processing of visa applications with an upcoming departure to Iceland within the months of July and August. If these technical issues affect applications currently in process at the Embassy, respective applicants will be notified and appropriate measures taken.

    Thank you for your understanding.
