We would like to remind customers that all appointments (including Tatkaal) are allocated by the High Commission of India, London and its Consulates are available free of charge. VFS Global is the only official outsourcing partner providing all consular services to the High Commission of India, London and its Consulates in Birmingham & Edinburgh.

All applicants residing in London, Birmingham and Edinburgh jurisdiction, can now make appointments using the online appointments system for Passport, Surrender of Indian Passport, Visa, OCI, Attestation & other Consular Services etc. Due to the pandemic, High Commission of India, London are able to offer limited number of appointments hence applicants are advised to use the above services only in case of an urgency.

Appointments must be booked in line with the service required. We will be unable to assist customers who arrive to the centre with incorrect service appointments.

COVID 19 requirements when in the VFS centre.

1. Only one member per family will be allowed into the centre. Friends and other family members are strictly not allowed unless accompanying a minor.
2. Please cover your face, at all times.
3. Please follow social distancing (2 metres) at the centre

Processing Time for all Fresh/Renewal passport applications submitted in VFS Centers is 5 to 6 weeks.
