Dear applicants

please note that as of February, 1st 2023 the VFS centre in Tripoli and Benghazi will no longer accept visa applications for the Italy mission. Thank you for your understanding.

Information for applicants attending Bengahzi Center

On a temporary basis, if you couldn’t get an appointment at the VFS desk to submit your visa application, you can ask for assistance directly from the Consulate General, by writing a message to the address : visti.bengasi@esteri.it,

providing:

• your personal data (full name, date of birth, address) and the data of any family members who intend to apply for a visa with you;
• copy of your passport and those of your family members who should apply with you;
• your telephone number;
• the purpose of your journey;
• the starting date and the duration of your trip.

The Consulate General will do its best to help you, according to the availability of slots in the calendar, but cannot guarantee that your request will be granted.

Increased fees for visa applications

Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent
